Happy New Year

Christmas was wonderful with my sons.  I made dinner.  Turkey with all the trimmings.  Just finished the left overs today for lunch.  So, sitting her I realized it is now time to look ahead to 2017.  What will next year hold for me and my family?

As always, I hope next year brings happiness, health, and wealth.  I always wish for that.  Of course, this time of year people talk about resolutions.  I’m not big on resolutions, never have been.   These are things that you should be working on all year long not just once a year.  I do have a few goals for the new year.

I would like to rewrite Dining, Not Just Eating.  I have some new recipes I want to include.  I also want to add more photos to it.  Being my very first shot at writing there are a few improvements I can make.  By the way if you have a favorite recipe please send it to me.  I will be happy to try it and if I like it I may include it in the book with your permission.  I’ll be happy to share full credit with you just not the royalty check.

The Journey of the Freighter Lola will continue.  I have a few ideas for upcoming stories.  I hope to have the fourth volume in the series released by the end of winter.  I am currently editing it.  There are few new characters and a few new twists.  Don’t worry Jack, Julie, Chris, and Nicky C will still be there.

So, Happy New Year to everyone.  May 2017 bring peace and prosperity to you.  Remember the best way to start off the new year is with Champagne and Hardcore.

  1. I just finished my first rewrite on my next novel in the Journey of the Freighter Lola series. My editor has gone through it and reduced me to tears as usual. I now will read it through once again and resubmit it to the editor. I really like this novel. I take a different angle and try something different here. There are a few new characters and some interesting action. I am hoping for a late winter release. I’m still not locked in on a title but I will keep you advised as I get ready to release.
